William Mitchell, President and CEO, retired from the Navy Submarine Service and began a second career in Manufacturing. As an executive with multiple Fortune companies, his responsibilities included the transportation of raw materials and finished products throughout North America. This was accomplished through the utilization of fleet trucks, contract carriers, and freight brokers. Mr. Mitchell experienced first-hand, the challenge of keeping On Time Delivery commitments while balancing Customer Satisfaction with Profitability. Based on his personal business experiences, Mr. Mitchell realized the need for a freight broker who could provide flexible transportation options that were both reliable and cost efficient. He incorporated Premier Freight intent on providing a premium level of service in which the company would be accessible to his customers, proactive in communication, fair in pricing, safe, and reliable.
